21 things to do before I turn 30

Today is my birthday... or rather, the 8th anniversary of my 21st birthday.  =)  I have stopped actually aging..


One of the bigger more involved list items was to raise chickens, and eventually butcher and eat one.  I'd like to know how it is done, and I already eat chicken... learning the process is just the next step, and I want to know how to do it.

I highly doubt it will be something I do more than once, as I am not even sure I will be able to do it in the first place...  I blogged about the actual chickary here.   Yes, I make up words all the time... Don't you?  =)

    Happy birthday! I had the hardest time leading up to 30. Once I got there I realized it wasn't so bad after all. Guess what - 40 isn't bad either.

    @Afrorican - I know! LOL When I read the list to my husband to make sure he was okay with it, he said, "As long as I don't have to get a second job to pay for it all."

    @Jennifer - I think my general omg about turning 30 is that I can't believe it's only a year away. Honestly, I still feel like a kid. A kid with kids, a mortgage and lots of very unkid things, but deep down, I truly feel young. So, really, I am okay with it... At least I think I will be.. I have one more year until 30, but I think I will take it in stride.

    However, before I had grey hair, I was convinced I would wear my grey proudly, as a badge of honor, you know to show how wise I am. LOL ... But now that the grey hair is creeping out all over the place, you bet your behind I am getting that crap covered up! lol ..Same goes for my wrinkles. =)

    So who knows how I will actually feel about being 30.

    Family Mat-ters is so right! 40 rocks! But you are holding out on us! I want pictures of those red shoes and that dress!

    PS: I want to raise chickens, too. Husband thinks I'm crazy.
